11/14/2019 0 Comments Pet Odor? Baking Soda to the RescuePet owners love their pets. This is as a true a statement as any. Countless people have pets OR plan to have one soon. Recently I was in a rescue shelter looking at the dogs and considering whether it was time to take one home. There were LOTS of people in the facility and each one was considering their future pet choices. Yes, many people love animals. As you well know, having a pet requires loving, nurturing, feeding, and even cleaning the animal(s). Pets are sweet, special and loving. And, through no fault of their own, can create and leave odors in your home. But fear not, there is a simple fix for this. Typically pet odor resides in carpets, furnishings, pet beds, and area rugs. BAKING SODA TO THE RESCUE Grab some baking soda and sprinkle it generously over the area that seems to be the source of the pet odor. Allow the baking soda to sit overnight (at least 24 hours). Then vacuum the baking soda up.
This usually solves the problem. If any pet odor remains, repeat the process. Most of the time this will eliminate any odors. If, however, you still smell a less-then-wonderful scent in your home, give me a call at 256-886-9100. I'd be happy to help. I hope this post helps.
